Samantha got up and walked over to Tammy's house. When she got there Jason was comibng out carrying something under his arm. "What's that?" she asked. "Oh hi, erm it's just something that I'm borrowing from Tammy for a few days, erm...I've got to go, I'll see you later," then he just strolled off down the road with the parcel under his arm. She knocked on the door, Tammy's mum answered, "Hello dear, come on in, Tammy, Samantha's here." "Okay mum, I'll be right down," and just as she had said, she was down in a second, she was so predictable, if she said she was going to do something then sure as hell she'd do it. Tammy led her through to the kitchen, asked if she wanted a drink and after pouring orange juice for the both of them Tammy led her up to her bedroom, she was shocked to see Dave lying across the bed drinking a small glass of orange which was almost empty so she figured that he'd been there for some time. She turned to Tammy and said, "I didn't know that you had company, I'll come back later if you want to be alone for a while." "No, your okay to stay for a while if you want to," said Dave. She thought that it was quiet odd for Dave to be saying this when it was Tammy's house that they were in. There was about five minutes silence after that which was broken by Tammy, "So what brings you over here I don't usually see you on a thursday, your usually with your other friends...you know, the girls that don't even acknowledge me when we are down at the centre." "Listen Tammy, I know it's not right for them to ignore you all the time but there isn't a lot that I can do about it is there?" "Well, seeing as though your supposed to be my friend, the least you could do is defend me couldn't you?" "Well yes I suppose so but..." "But what?" "But...but...oh nothing it's just that if I start defending you again then I would probably lose their friendship and then they's fall out with me and still pick on you so neither of us would be any better off would we, just think about it will you," "Oh right, and whilst I'm thinking about it I've just got to sit and listen to them going on at me all the time have I, I've just got to keep on looking over my shoulder whenever I'm alone incase there waiting to beat me up, I'm worried sick over this and I never know what there going to do next." "Well you could try getting Dave to have a word with them couldn't you...?" "Oh and what's that supposed to mean?" Dave reacted nastily. "Well I thought you two were an item seeing as though you are alone in her room." "Well you thought wrong didn't you?" "Well I'm sorry, I just thought," "Yeah well, don't think so much next time, okay." "Yeah, okay fine..." she stood up and walked towards the door she said, "I'm going to get back to the house now Tammy I'll see you tomorrow." "Yeah, sure whatever, bye." "Bye..." Dave said sarcastically. As she walked downstairs she could hear Tammy shouting at Dave, "What the hell do you think you were doing, she id the only friend I've got and you just had to have a go at her didn't you?"
